We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill the Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) Programme Officer role in the Hertfordshire and North London Area. You'll ensure capital and revenue programmes are monitored effectively, liaising with a number of FCRM teams and the wider business to gather information. You’ll extract and analyse project, programme and performance data, and work with this information to respond to information requests and prepare reports that will support decision making across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team making a difference for our customers and our environment.
This role will be part of the area FCRM Programme Team. We form a core part of a network with colleagues from FCRM, Operations Delivery, Finance and our Programme and Contract Management team in order to develop, manage and deliver FCRM programmes of work. The role will also form part of a national community working with colleagues in our national teams and across areas.
• You'll have strong organisational and inter-personal skills and a proven ability to use MS Office (strong Excel skills will be required).
• You understand and enjoy working with data and can demonstrate a sound knowledge of Project and Programme Management.
• GIS skills would be advantageous to help display powerful info-graphics.
• You can present convincing verbal and written advice and have a practical approach to problem solving.
• Your proactive approach and fresh perspective will ensure you’re always looking for ways we can improve.
• A proven record of working with customers and delivering on time are essential.

The role is predominantly office based although travel to other sites may be required.
The Grade Rate for the role is £27, 572.
