We’re looking for a senior advisor who will help us to deliver a number of high priority projects, as well as supporting the services we manage internally and externally (to the Environment Agency). You would be working with a range of customers both outside of Defra and within, and may involve managing a member, or members of the team.
The FCRM Mapping and Modelling team in Risk Assessment and Investment, are responsible for shaping organisational delivery of flood risk maps, models and the data that supports them to ensure we (and our flood and coastal partners) are using the best evidence to underpin our flood risk management decision making. We work with Government, internal national teams and local area teams to ensure customer needs for information and products are understood and delivered upon.
We’re looking for someone with a strong knowledge of mapping, modelling and data and how they can apply it to our challenges, and who is enthusiastic about delivering work which is a high priority to the Environment Agency and to the people we work with.
