This is an exciting opportunity to join the Environment Agency’s National Navigation team as a ‘Product Manager’ to lead the development of a new digital Boat Registration service. We need a modern service which will support us to register, charge, regulate and inform our customers in a more effective way. Working with the Environment Agency’s Regulatory Services Programme, responsible for delivering ‘digital by default’ services, you will be responsible for ensuring the ‘programme’ delivers a product that meets the needs of the business and our customers.
Working alongside Service Owners, business and technology teams you will:

● identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to ensure the right solutions, taking into account benefits including efficiencies
● understand the data and information requirements for the service
● help teams to manage and prioritise work and ensure that the project delivers the business objectives
● anticipate problems, ensuring they are investigated and resolved and solutions are implemented
● manage conflicting priorities by assessing risks and benefits

● engage with stakeholders to gain their input, use feedback to inform continuous improvement and to promote the future service
