There is also the potential opportunity to line manage a small number of individuals.
Part of the Portfolio Delivery Office, our Resource Planning, Assurance & Skills team works with other teams across the Major Projects and Programme Delivery Directorate and the Integrated Delivery Hubs, helping to create a better place through our work in Portfolio, Programme and Project Management.
We support the resourcing of our teams, ensure our contractors are paid the right amount at the right time and support other teams with a wide range of activities.
You will have:
• The ability to collate, analyse and interpret large volumes of resource data.
• The ability to simplify complex resource data to develop delivery scenarios and articulate business risks and issues to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, balanced with pace and timeliness.
• The ability to be responsive and flexible to changing priorities, have emotional intelligence and resilience, a collaborative “can do” attitude and commitment to creating an inclusive culture.
• A strong track record and proven experience of working with and building effective working relationships in a change environment.
• Recognised technical or professional expertise to develop sustainable future facing solutions for resource planning and / or demonstrable operational understanding of resource planning.
• A working knowledge of operational delivery and project management is preferable. A good understanding of the Environment Agency’s operating business, Flood Risk and Asset Management would be advantageous.
