Are you a natural planner? Are you organised and enjoy completing tasks to deadlines, maintaining a high standard whilst managing other priorities?
As an associate Project Manager will build an understanding of what a project needs to achieve, how it will be delivered, how long it will take and how much it will cost.

For this role you’ll be completing a nationally accredited Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship through online learning and remotely delivered workshops.

Delivering business improvements through our people and partnerships requires individuals who are innovative, creative and flexible. The National Flood & Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) Development Portfolio Team provides an excellent opportunity to learn about all aspects of project management in an established professional project delivery environment.

You’ll receive coaching and mentoring from professional team members, working with and learning from experienced Project Management professionals, gaining experience in the delivery of various projects. On successful completion of the apprenticeship you will have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to undertake the responsibilities described.

In this national role, we encourage blended home and office working. You will need to be able to travel to Bristol to attend meetings/training.
The National FCRM Development Portfolio team support delivery of ambitious business improvement projects for FCRM and Incident Management.

Working with our team of dedicated project management professionals, you’ll gain experience of Project Management practices within the Environment Agency, learn about various parts of our organisation whilst obtaining insight and knowledge to support your role and career.

We take a one team approach focused on supporting, empowering and developing ourselves and each other.
No previous experience is required as the apprenticeship will provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours to be fully effective in the role.

You will be someone with a genuine interest in getting things done and be passionate about creating a better place for people and wildlife. You will be flexible in your approach and have determination to make positive change happen.
