Operational Delivery
As part of our Operations Field Team you'll help to maintain our river and coastal defences to reduce the impact of flooding on people and property.
You'll assist in delivering our routine maintenance programmes by carrying out all types of asset repairs, construction work, grass cutting, weed cutting, tree works and blockage removals.
You'll also be part of an emergency call out rota responding to flooding and environmental incidents. Health Safety and Wellbeing is very important to us so you will follow procedures and complete risk assessments for the work that you undertake.
Our Operations Field Teams are responsible for:-
Delivering annual maintenance programmes for assets that protect properties and infrastructure e.g. flood banks and pumping stations.
Delivering an effective emergency response capability for flooding and environmental incidents.
Health Safety and Wellbeing is very important and you'll need to have a pro active attitude
Ideally you will have previous experience of working outdoors in all weathers.
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage - forestry, landscaping, construction works.
A full UK driving licence is essential as you will need to travel to different sites.
Vacancies are currently available in Romsey and Shoreham, but more may become available at other locations across the Solent and South Downs area in Chichester and Seaford depots.

You must live within your team's operational area for any of these roles or be prepared to relocate.

Driving licence required
