Is leadership part of your career plan?

If so, whether you are applying for the first time for a team leader role, or as an existing team leader and you would like a change, then we have a number of team leader vacancies in Cumbria and Lancashire.

The team leader role is absolutely critical to how we deliver our business and ensure that everyone who works here has the support they need to do a fantastic job. We are keen to receive applications from a wide range of people to develop a pool of potential team leaders.
Our leadership roles cover a wide and diverse range of teams. We have teams that work in a variety of different locations both office and field based. This does mean that there is likely to be travelling involved both by car and rail, but depending on your personal circumstances we will try to match you with a role that would work well for you and the business.
We are looking for enthusiastic, self motivated applicants, who see that providing great leadership is as important as protecting people and the environment. You should have some experience of leading people, and this may have been achieved through other non-team leader roles e.g. project management or leading field teams. We would also expect good communication, influencing and decision making skills to help you do a great job. Moving to a team leader role should be part of your career plan.
This is a fixed term post for 6 months.

The grade rate for the role is £33,990 (pro-rata).

Please download the candidate pack for more information about the role and application process.

If you have any questions please contact Maria Herlihy at maria.herlihy@environment-agency.gov.uk
