We are looking for two professional individuals with knowledge and experience of different industrial sectors, to be responsible for the regulation of installations under the Environmental Permitting Regulations. You will ensure permit compliance, assess operators ability to protect the environment, prevent pollution and optimise use of resources.

Although comprehensive technical skills are desirable, effective influencing and negotiating skills are essential to secure best practice, able to deal with technical and different management levels within industry, local communities and other interested groups. You will be expected to respond to, investigate and undertake enforcement to a range of environmental incidents.
The posts will be in the Installations North team covering sites in Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external partners. We are always looking at good practice from other sectors so experience in the industrial sector is not essential, if you have valuable experience to offer.

• the ability to demonstrate practical operational experience and knowledge of environmental regulation
• have experience of delivering environmental improvements using a range of tools.
