We operate a successful and highly respected Incident Management Service. Climate change will increase the frequency and severity of incidents. We need to be ready to provide the best service we can afford, ensuring incident response is life enhancing for our staff. This is an opportunity to help design and implement the changes we need to make.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging person. You should have excellent data analysis and a good working knowledge of MS excel, Power BI.
You will be involved in data and evidence gathering supporting our work of future incident response pay and reward. This is a key part of the improvements we want to deliver and your contribution will be critical to this.
You will be part of a collaborative team alongside other colleagues in Incident Management and Resilience to help shape and implement an organisation-wide approach to how we respond to incidents in the future.

The Future Incident Response team sits within Preparedness and Recovery and is focused on designing and implementing changes to help ensure we can provide a reliable response to incidents
You’ll bring a range of skills and experience, in particular we’re looking for people with;
• Excellent data and analysis skills including good working understanding of MS Excel and other data and analysis products like Power BI.
• Great communication skills
• Ability to network and develop good links with colleagues, keeping them informed and managing their expectations
• Excellent organisational skills for your own work, being able to re-prioritise and adapt your plans quickly and work independently
• An ability to develop ideas into actions and embed these effectively
• An ability to work as part of a team.
• You will be able to demonstrate that you are proactive, can identify the needs of others and can work in an inclusive environment.
• Experience of working in a project and/or programme management environment is desirable but not essential.
You can choose your base location from any of our main offices and will be able to work from your home as part of a flexible working approach. Occasional travel will be required to the main office or meeting hubs in England.

You will be expected to support the organisation during incidents, this may require working outside of office hours and at the weekend. This will attract additional payments. Full training and flexible working arrangements will be available to support you.
