We’re offering an exciting opportunity to be part of an organisation with the environment at its core. The Environment Agency offers you a chance to improve the world you live in, by tackling the climate and nature emergency.
We are looking for Team Leaders to take on a leading team management role in our National Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) Improvements Portfolio team.
You will join a team of project and programme professionals, and will line manage members of the team who are delivering business improvement nationally across the organisation.

This is your chance to shape and develop our project delivery service and improve how we deliver our products into Operations. We have a great culture and working environment, and there are rich rewards from the high-profile work we do to protect communities from the devastating effects of flooding and climate change.
You will work closely with our project delivery team, with other Team Leaders in the Portfolio. Our team is recognised for its strong focus on support and development. You will take a lead in recruiting, inducting, coaching and developing your team.
The FCRM Improvements Portfolio is growing team of programme and project management professionals delivering FCRM and Incident Management work of the highest priority, valued at over £50m a year.
Our portfolio includes projects that deliver new technologies, ways to reduce our carbon impact and adaptations to climate change. Our track record for delivery is exceptional, and we pride ourselves on building a one team approach between the directorate and Operations colleagues.
