These two essential roles will lead on the development of our future programme of FCRM projects.

One role will be focussed on identifying areas still at risk of flooding within Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and develop solutions to reduce flood risk to these areas. The role will be working in partnership with our internal teams, framework consultants and wider partners. Your ability to work with others to identify solutions, build relationships and secure contributions are just as important as your skills in assessing flood risk and providing solutions.

The second role is an inward facing position. Working with our internal teams, you will lead on developing a strategic forward look at our asset stock. In particular, identifying which assets are nearing the end of their residual life, assessing where these assets will either need replacing or major repairs and shaping the solutions to be delivered as stand-alone capital projects.
You’ll be part of the newly formed Programme Delivery Unit, a team dedicated to helping us achieve our target of reducing flood risk to 300,000 properties. The team is co-located with our framework consultants and contractors, offering unparalleled access to skills and experience across the whole sector.
We are seeking senior technical leads who have:
- An in-depth knowledge of flood risk and how to reduce to it
- Exceptional ability to work across all levels of partners, both internally and externally to deliver results
- Proven track record of identifying and solving problems
- Some knowledge of engineering principles
