Do you want to make the world a better place? Are you passionate about protecting against natural threats and hazards? We are looking for a great person to join us as Asset Performance Officer. In this role you will prioritise and deliver asset repair and recondition work as well as provide input to nationally delivered projects and support the workforce with the creation and development of the FCRM programme. You will engage with customers; communicating flood risk and delivering improvements.
Our Asset Performance team's role is to inspect, build, repair and maintain flood defence assets. We cover the River Severn and its main river tributaries through Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. Our team deliver a program of works to manage our assets to reduce flood risk to our local communities.
You will be experienced in working as part of a team as well as using your own initiative on given tasks. We require someone with good communication skills both written and spoken to convey information to both colleagues and customers. You'll be able to demonstrate data management skills.
You will have a working knowledge or a range of IT packages including MS Office, AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
