• Acting as an initial point of contact, communicating and filtering information for the team.
• The collation, analysis and reporting of data and information received by the team.
• To provide support to the annual reporting of shipment data to DEFRA
• Organising, maintaining and developing information storage and retrieval systems and ensuring information is up to date.
• Chasing and tracking shipment information and undertaking compliance monitoring.
• Identifying efficiencies and recommending changes to our processes, delivering continuous improvement.
• Developing and maintaining strong customer focus to ensure effective relationship building and partnership working.
The International Waste Shipments Team (IWS) is part of National Trading & Regulation Service and is a growing part of the business. We are based at Richard Fairclough House in Warrington. The team is responsible for the assessment of applications and the administration of data associated with the import and export of both waste and radioactive sources.
•Proven experience of working in a customer focused, service delivery role.
•Proven ability in prioritising and managing a varied workload.
•Experience of working in support of customers to achieve compliance with regulatory requirements is desirable but not essential
•Ability to coordinate the collection, assessment and reporting of diverse, complex data.
•Good interpersonal and influencing skills demonstrating the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external customers is essential.
•Ability to communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external customers.
•Salary: £22,211
