We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and engaging individual to join the Portfolio Assurance Business Team in the South West, based in Exeter. Joining this crucial area of the business, you will help to facilitate delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects valued at £50m per annum.

Anticipating the needs of the business, you will support and deliver excellent customer service in our National Business Team. The impact of your work will be felt throughout the organisation, so being driven by continuous improvement and being self-motivated is key. You will be open to challenge and unfazed when asked to react quickly to business need.
As part of the Business Team, you'll be working with a diverse, fun, supportive and professional team. Your focus will be on providing excellent support to a national delivery team of 20 project managers within Programme and Contract Management, wider business and ultimately, creating a better place for people and wildlife. In short, your primary customer is a national team providing value and excellence through flexible and trusted programme and project management across the organisation.
Offering a wide range of functions in a dynamic forward thinking team, strong problem solving skills and the ability to implement and refine innovative work practices is essential. As an evolving role in a growing team, work can often be reactive and highly varied, so it is important that the post-holder is positive, proactive and able to adapt their style and pace of work accordingly. In turn, there are opportunities to develop the scope of the role description.
This role requires a well organised, focused individual that is able to plan their own work and manage peaks effectively. It also requires an influential individual who exercises good judgement and decision-making skills and who is able to communicate effectively, particularly with a flair for presenting data engagingly.
This role is ideal for those with a passion for working in a project delivery environment and supporting the needs of the project team.

Salary £27,572 (potentially more for exceptional candidates, based on skills and experience).

This role is based within our team at Exeter. Some national travel and overnight stays are required in this post.
