Have you got a passion for protecting the environment? Have you got good administrative skills and an eye for detail. Are you looking to develop a career in environmental protection?

We are looking for good communicators with excellent administrative skills and an interest in enforcement to work in our new Agriculture enforcement support team, working directly with area field officers to support their enforcement activities.

As a part of Project TARA (Testing Approaches to Regulation of Agriculture) this is initially a year’s trial (until 31st March 2025) of a new approach to enforcement, designed to free up our regulatory officer’s time using dedicated enforcement support officers.

You will work with our area field officers, helping them carry out investigations, with a focus on completion of systems, record keeping and co ordinating delivery of actions of various officers and teams.

Proficiency in IT systems and working well in teams will be essential to ensure success.

You’ll have an inclusive incident management objective in your development plan, so we’ll support you to find an incident role to suit your needs and circumstances. Appropriate training will be given.

You will join the E&B Agriculture team.

We use smart tools to stay connected, but some travel and overnight stays may be required.
