As a member of the Asset Performance team you'll be helping to deliver a variety of work areas to ensure our flood risk assets are effectively managed across Staffordshire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
You will manage our asset data to ensure it is of the best quality and can be relied upon to inform our future investment programme.
You will also assist with the delivery of maintenance programmes and project manage small construction projects. This includes managing contractors to health and safety guidelines.
Incident management forms a crucial part of the job and you will be expected to participate in a standby / out of hour's role.
You will also split your time between Asset Performance and the Field Teams to support our Field Operations teams with their admin requirements.

The Asset Performance team manages our flood risk assets to reduce the impact of flooding. We work closely with internal and external partners and take an active role in incident management, ensuring our assets perform when it really matters.
This role requires excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to ensure our wide asset base is maintained to the required standards using Asset, Geographical Information and other IT systems.
You will be a team player and have the ability to make sound decisions based on data and evidence. Great verbal and written communication skills are also essential as you will be liaising with customers daily.
You may be a recent engineering graduate or have experience with a similar organisation to us in the environmental or water sector. Experience in flood risk management, GIS systems, engineering or asset management activities is advantageous.
