We are looking for graduate Mechanical Engineers to join our well established and highly experienced MEICA teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) in Cambridgeshire and East Yorkshire. You’ll follow a structured and well supported training programme that satisfies the requirements of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers to become a Chartered Engineer. You'll take on a real mix of internal and external projects to build your skills in everything from asset management to project feasibility, planning to design, and project management to site supervision. You'll gain the full range of relevant attributes and capabilities to complete your chartered professional review.
Join our MEICA team and you will be involved in developing strategies, developing the IT support tools and providing expert technical support and advice to our field teams. You’ll be supported by your team leader and a supervising engineer who'll oversee your work, you’ll have a delegated engineer / mentor to help you on a day-to-day basis. They will share their extensive knowledge and experience to give you every opportunity to become an established engineer.
To join the graduate programme, you'll need an accredited Mechanical Engineering degree or BEng (hons) plus an appropriate Masters degree or approved further learning to Masters level. Please visit the IMechE website if you are unsure that your degree meets the criteria. It is likely to take you between three and four years to complete the programme. Keen to learn, you’ll be ready to make the most of all the assignments and opportunities that will come your way.
