We are looking for energetic, dynamic people to join our team of administrators within Climate Change Trading & Regulatory Services (CCTRS). This role will provide help to enable our customers to comply with their obligations. You will be responding promptly to technical enquiries, helping deliver compliance and enforcement within regulations, account maintenance, providing data and information reporting.

The role offers opportunities to work on a range of areas within the team. Typically this may include dealing with customers through our helpdesks, processing simple permits, maintaining our IT applications, delivering aspects of compliance audits, help deliver enforcement work and assisting with finance including chasing debt and providing excellent customer service.
Climate Change Trading and Regulatory Services (CCTRS) are spread across Warrington and Preston. Our teams regulate and administer various European and UK Government climate change regulatory instruments. This role sits within the Business Development and Operational Support (BDOS) Team that carries out cross cutting development and operational activities for the schemes administered by CCTRS.
The aim is to protect and improve our environment to ensure the UK is meeting its greenhouse gas emission reduction targets.
• Proven experience of working in a customer focused office environment.
• Proven ability in prioritising and managing a varied workload.
• Experience of working in support of customers to achieve compliance with regulatory requirements is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to coordinate the collection, assessment and reporting of diverse, complex data.
• Good communication skills demonstrating the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external customers is essential.
• Deliver deadlines across multiple areas of work
Salary: £23,248

We have 2 fixed term contract roles based in Richard Fairclough House, Warrington or Lutra House, Preston but will initially be home-based due to the Covid19 situation. If permanent opportunities arise these will be re-advertised.
