We’re looking for an organised person with an interest in the environment to support our Fisheries, Biodiversity & Geomorphology team and ensure our systems run smoothly and effectively.
You will provide excellent administration support to our team. This will include tracking, collating and organising information, emails and files. You will also provide excellent data and information through inputting into our systems, including budgetary tracking and raising orders. You will be organising and capturing actions in meetings, drafting and preparing documents and sharing information with different teams and partners across the area.
We are an enthusiastic team with a core of technical experts, who protect and improve the environment and make it a better place for people and wildlife. We work closely with a wide range of partners to protect endangered species and to improve river and coastal habitats. We make sure there is enough water for people and wildlife; reduce the risk of flooding; protect and improve air, land and water quality.
We are seeking an experienced administrator with good verbal and written communication skills. You’ll possess proven ability to work unsupervised, work well within teams, manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines.
Other key requirements for this job include proficiency in IT applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel along with good organisational skills and customer focus.
No formal qualifications are required for this role but an eye for detail and enthusiasm for the environment is important.

Please be aware that although our office is currently on Waterside North in Lincoln we will be relocating to Ceres House, Searby Road, Lincoln later this year.
The role is office based in Lincoln but occasional travel to other offices and ability to undertake field visits is required. Although there is the option of job share for this post we will need the successful candidate[s] to be able to work full days occasionally to enable them to attend our team meetings in Peterborough, other meetings and training sessions.
