We’re looking for a capable Advisor to join us at the Environment Agency providing essential support to the Chief of Staff, and working closely with the Chief Executive’s Office.
You'll carry out a range of duties including the strategic oversight of and direct accountability for delivering the Chief of Staff’s communication and engagement priorities. You’ll use your effective communication skills to confidently interact with staff at all levels, as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the responsibilities of the Chief of Staff’s Office. You’ll understand the need for great customer service and be able to set realistic customer expectations whilst maintaining valued relationships.
You’ll manage a confidential support service for the Chief of Staff ensuring he's briefed on high priority issues and able to maximise the effectiveness of his time. You’ll be a confident decision maker and able to add value.
You’ll be part of a duty rota supporting the senior management team, and assisting during incidents. Occasionally this includes out of hours and weekend shifts.
You will be an essential part of the Chief of Staff’s team, playing an important role in supporting the Chair and Chief Executive. We help protect our reputation and ensure we give clear and consistent messages. We are proud of our excellent standards of customer service. The successful candidate is likely to have administrative experience at senior level from a previous role including strong written skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks.

The salary is in the range of £34,330 pro-rata
