You will play a key part in ensuring staff have the right technical and professional skills, to deliver the objectives of the organisation. The majority of this work will be done by working in partnership with technical subject matter experts. You will be responsible for identifying technical skills gaps and training needs across the organisation and different professional groups. You will also help the business design, develop and implement a range of development programmes, taking account of value for money and return on investment. We expect to use a range of learning approaches including on line learning. One of these roles will specialise on apprenticeships.
The Learning and Development team sit within the Human Resources function and cover all technical, professional, management and leadership development. We work across the business to help identify needs, scope and develop learning solutions in support of organisational objectives
You will need to be a skilled learning professional who can build effective relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Strong analytical skills are required to ensure effective scoping of learning requirements, plus an ability to find innovative but pragmatic and commercially sound solutions. You will be skilled at managing multiple pieces of work with different levels of priorities and deadlines.
