We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals with a proven technical ability to join our teams in Climate Change Trading and Regulatory Services (CCTRS), part of the wider Operations Regulatory Services (ORS) team.



The role will involve:



Ensuring operators are compliant with regulations

Delivering aspects of compliance audits

Providing advice and guidance to industry

Undertaking enforcement action where required

Data analysis

Developing guidance

CCTRS is part of National Operations. We regulate and administer various UK Government climate change schemes. The aim is to protect and improve our environment. These regimes are central to ensuring that the UK is meeting our targets relating to greenhouse gas emissions.



Whilst teams are working flexibly between office locations and home, you may be required to travel to offices for meetings and training. Your base location will be in Warrington, Preston or Sheffield.

Using effective written and spoken communication skills to influence and persuade external customers, stakeholders, and internal colleagues in order to deliver results.

Good data management and analysis skills.

Relevant regulatory experience in Climate Change Trading & Regulatory Services regimes is beneficial but full training will be provided for this role.

We are advertising for one permanent position.

There is a strong possibility that more posts will become available, and we intend to use the outcome of this recruitment process to fill any vacancies that arise at this grade within 6 months of interviews.
