Then the National Environmental Assessment and Sustainability (NEAS) team is looking for you!

We are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join the NEAS team. This role is the Landscape client role supporting the North West hub team.

NEAS works on Environment Agency Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) projects. NEAS hub teams provide the following input to the Integrated Delivery Teams for each delivery hub:

We give high quality environmental and sustainability advice.
We identify and manage environmental risk on our projects.
We identify and deliver environmental enhancements to create a better place.
Our input includes assurance at a strategic and project level.

You’ll be involved in ground-breaking, award-winning work, leaving a legacy for the future. This will be achieved in collaboration with a network of stakeholders. These include internal departments, statutory bodies, delivery partners, businesses, and communities.
We are the National Environmental Assessment and Sustainability team (NEAS). NEAS is part of Major Projects and Programme Delivery.
We are a very friendly, very supportive North West team. The wider, national NEAS team is equally supportive and friendly. We work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers.
Experience/Skills Required:
Essential:

Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute with professional experience
Landscape planning
Multi-disciplinary team working
Landscape design and contract administration
Proven communication and influencing skills

Desirable:

Qualified or conversant in PRINCE2 terminology
Experience in mentoring and supporting colleagues
Knowledge of flood and coastal erosion risk management
Public and private sector experience

You will be required to regularly travel across the region. Some national travel with occasional overnight stays will be required. Working from home when not needed at site or in an office is supported.
