We have two Industrial Placement positions in our Asset Performance Team. These placements will give you the opportunity to get involved in a varied workload which will include;
• Improve Asset Information
• Minor Project Management Support
• Improve Asset Resilience Measures
• Input into Incident Response Preparedness
• Opportunities for Site visits in the field
• Use of various systems and software including GIS based software


The job is varied, you will need to be versatile to support the team to deliver, and help improve, our asset management programme. The ability to develop solid working relationships is paramount. You will help identify improvements and efficiencies and assist in managing a maintenance programme and budget.
The Herts & North London Asset Performance team are a team based in the Welwyn Garden City office. Our primary responsibilities are fluvial flood protection of properties within the All North London catchments. Whilst safeguarding, and enhancing, the environment and ensuring our assets and work adheres to the highest standards of safety. We achieve this through developing and delivering our maintenance programme, whilst closely engaging with our EA colleagues and local communities.
We are looking for anyone studying in relevant degrees who has an interest in the environment and asset management relating to flood risk management.
