The Environment Agency (EA) operates across England and our teams are geographically orientated so that we can focus our efforts on supporting local communities and businesses. We are looking for a leader with the ability to deliver innovative, professional services that are responsive to our internal customers and enable the EA to provide great outcomes and value for money. You will champion the vital role that business planning plays in the smooth running of the EA, and will support our staff to be the best they can be.
Important qualities are your kindness, hard work, excellent networking skills and a willingness to think differently and drive better ways of working. Ideally someone who is confident, collaborative, capable and caring about staff and customers.
Leading a dispersed team of Business Partners you will have a broad, senior network of customers and collaborators. You will bring energy and ideas that will shape the planning/performance service we need for the next five years – one which is simpler, more effective, and will be delivered in partnership with Defra Corporate Services.

There is one full-time and one part-time position available.
