As a Grade 4 Officer, within the Asset Performance team, you'll be working on whole life Asset Management of flood risk assets. Key to this role will be ensuring we optimise the life cycle of our existing assets through regular maintenance, intermittent maintenance, refurbishment and replacement.

You will need excellent communication skills to work closely within the team and our business partners internally to support others. This is particularly important in planning works and the application of our risk management procedures to ensure we remain compliant with legislation: such as Health and Safety at Work; Construction, Design and Management Regulations; Reservoir Act.

You will have to be self-motivating and capable of identifying opportunities to maximise our delivery capability in year and assist the Asset Performance team with identifying future year's investment to our assets.

Through the use of asset data you will prioritise inspections, maintenance, repair and recondition work, fulfil the post-inspection review process and ensure assets meet Environment Agency standards.
Based out of either our Farnham office. You will support a Grade 5 Advisor to manage all stages of the asset lifecycle, from planning new assets to decommissioning. The team inspects assets through visual and detailed assessment, develops work programmes through collaboration with other teams to ensure they fit with business strategies. Perform the role of CDM (Construction Design Management) client on asset construction and improvement projects.
Ideally you will have worked for an asset management client organisation or contractor and have delivered projects for them or supervised delivery of work. From your work and/or qualifications you will have experience of engineering and allied work and be able to manage multiple pieces of work/projects at the same time. You will be comfortable working within a team and on your own.
You should have:
• Safety, Health & Environment experience and awareness
• Be comfortable using information technology and associated software
• Be able to work/communicate with staff and customers whom may be distant
• A keenness to learn and develop
• A Full driving licence
Desirables
• Project Management experience
• Engineering qualification and/or practical experience (civil, mechanical/electrical)

Driving License
