We are looking for somebody with a passion for the environment who wants to help improve how we operate so we deliver even more for the environment.

In the role of Business Analyst, you will develop and utilise your Business Analysis skills to analyse current ways of working in order to identify, evaluate, and ultimately deliver significant improvement to how we protect and enhance the environment. Our Business Analysts work on a wide variety of business-critical improvement initiatives across the organisation, and you will take responsibility for leading the Business Analysis work on one of these. You will support Project and Programmes in developing robust and effective business cases and support our National Project Assurance Service (NPAS) in assuring them. You will be responsible for continually developing your own Business Analysis skills and experience too helping to drive our Business Analysis Service forward so we can make our organisation even more efficient and effective. A comprehensive training and development package will be provided.
Our accredited Business Analysts work across the Environment Agency, leading and supporting a wide variety of business-critical change and improvement initiatives. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong focus on customers and partners and ability to build and sustain relationships
- Ability to manage yourself and work on your own initiative

The following experience / qualifications would be desirable but is not essential:
- Business Analysis and/or Continuous Improvement qualifications
- Working with internal and external users and stakeholders on digital services

The key things we are looking for are transferable skills and capabilities, so don't be put off applying if you don’t have previous experience as a Business Analyst.

The team work remotely but occasional travel and overnight stays maybe required.
