Our Industrial Placements run for 54 weeks starting in July-August 2021. Giving you plenty of time to gain valuable experience whilst complementing your studies and personal/professional growth.

During your placement working with the Water Resources team, who ensure that water company plans are in place for a safe and secure supply of water now and into the future, you will gain experience and develop your technical skills in areas such as:

- Data handling and analysis
- Converting evidence and data trends into simple communication tools
- Active member of technical projects
- Engagement with water companies

OCS Water Resources influence and ensure the right investments are made to protect and enhance the immediate and longer term needs of the environment. Our impact on the environment can be measured in £billions and you will play your part, alongside Water Quality/Evidence Delivery/Account Managers, and Environment Programme teams.

You will work with and learn from experienced members of your appointed team who will coach/mentor you throughout the year, supporting you to reach your potential.
We are looking for applicants who are studying or have recently studied any of the following subjects Geography, Environmental Science, Hydrology, Natural Science, Maths, Coastal processes/management, Geometics/mapping as part of their degree and have a keen interest in flood risk management.

You will have completed a minimum of two years of your degree course but will not have graduated before summer 2020.

We are looking for applicants with some of the following skills and interests:

- Interest in the environment and particularly flood risk
